Before
Before your treatment begins, we’ll discuss your skin goals and medical history during a thorough consultation. Once we’ve decided on an appropriate plan for you and your skin, we’ll discuss what topicals and other things you’ll need to avoid prior to your initial session.
During
First, we’ll cleanse your skin to help us achieve optimal results. Then, we’ll apply the device to the chosen treatment areas. You may feel a hot, stinging sensation at first, but don’t worry, because the device also works to cool your skin to minimize discomfort. We’ll provide you with an ice pack once we’re finished.
After
After your first session, we’ll schedule your next appointment: three treatments are standard, but more can be scheduled as we see how your skin reacts. You may experience purging in the form of excessive oiliness for a short time as your skin heals. This is normal and should subside within a few weeks.
